Clues: available only in Challenge mode. There are 2 optional clue levels that unlock as the game progresses.

Hints: available only in Practice mode. Long-press the ✓ or × score box to reveal a hint letter.

Keyboard notepad: long-press a keyboard letter to cross it out. Long-press again to restore it.

Tap the timer display at any time to pause it. The timer turns amber and shows ⏸ to indicate it is paused. Tap again to resume. Paused time is saved — if you close and reopen the app, the timer resumes from where you left it. Times over one hour display as H:MM:SS.

Sound is off by default. Toggle it using the Sound button on the Info main page. When on, you will hear subtle key clicks as you type, celebration sounds when you solve the puzzle, and encouraging words when the game ends without a solution. Six different celebration sounds play at random.

Shabaash (शाबाश) is a Hindi expression meaning “Well done!” or “Bravo!”.

The name also echoes two Hindi words: shabad (शब्द), meaning word, and akshar (अक्षर), meaning letter.
